BESSIE MCCANN, MD
Bessie McCann, MD is a board-certified physician who has served Thurston, Grays Harbor, and Lewis Counties for over 11 years as an Emergency Medicine Doctor. Dr. McCann has advanced cosmetics training and trains other providers to do cosmetic procedures. She strives to provide discrete, caring, one-on-one services for clients who value their time, privacy, and quality of results.
JESSICA NOWOBILSKI, RN

I’ve been a registered nurse since 2009 spending most of my career working in Emergency Medicine, which is where I met Dr. Bessie McCann. I am so grateful to her for giving me the opportunity to get into aesthetic nursing and to be a part of the talented and amazing team at Derma Medical Spa.

SARAH HAGEN, RN & MASTER ESTHETICIAN
”Hello! I’m Sarah, a Nurse Injector and Master Esthetician here at Derma since 2016. I come from a family with a long history in medical professions so I have always known that my learned knowledge and passion would lead me to somewhere within the healing community. Skin health has always been a passion of mine, especially after dealing with acne and other skin conditions as a teenager, so it was only natural that would lead me to a career in Aesthetics. With the encouragement and support of my husband and our sweet pup Annie, I became an Esthetician in 2015 and quickly went on to master my craft in Medical esthetics. While in school, I also worked in the ER at St. Peter Hospital where I met Doctor Bessie McCann. Her calm demeanor and confidence in the midst of utter chaos immediately drew me in. I knew this was a woman I could look up to and wanted to learn from. I was overjoyed to find out that she herself was passionate about skin health and asked her right then and there to guide me through this industry and for a position at Derma to work under her. Within Derma, I have learned so much over the years about different laser modalities, cosmetic injections, collagen induction therapies, and cosmetic science. I started my journey of Nursing so I could offer a more well-rounded and scientific approach within my role here at Derma. I graduated and became licensed as a nurse in 2020 and now offer injectable services as well. I truly look forward to working with you and helping you treat this awesome and protective organ with the care it deserves.”
LAURA BROWN, RN
During nursing school, my two dream jobs were in labor and delivery and aesthetic nursing, and I feel so fortunate to be working in both fields now. In addition to my role at Derma, I work part-time as a labor and delivery nurse.
From the delivery room to the treatment room at Derma, I bring a calm and compassionate approach to patient care. Your comfort, well-being, and safety will always be my top priorities. I want you to leave your time with me feeling valued, heard, and confident.

JENIFER MOORE, LEAD MASTER ESTHETICIAN
Hello! I’m Jenifer Moore, a passionate licensed master esthetician with 17 years of experience in the beauty industry. Over the past 11 years at Derma, I’ve been honored to guide clients along their esthetics journey, witnessing their skin transform through tailored skincare and treatment plans designed to meet their unique needs and concerns.
I hold several advanced certifications in techniques like micro-needling, acne treatment, melasma and rosacea care, laser, and specialized skincare for diverse skin tones. My enthusiasm for skincare remains as strong as it was on day one, and I truly believe that esthetics is a wonderful way to help others feel their best.
When I’m not at the spa, you’ll likely find me exploring the breathtaking landscapes of western Washington with my beloved dog, Stella, and the love of my life, Jay. “Hello! My name is Emily Johnson and I have been a Master Esthetician since 2015. My husband and I got married in 2014 and quickly started our family and built our first home. We have one little boy so far but can’t wait to expand our family! If there is one thing I’ve been called to do in this world, that is to be a Momma! I have found a true passion in healthy skin care and esthetics. At Derma I do laser, chemical peels, DiamondGlow microdermabrasion, and all other aesthetics services including dermaplaning, facials and waxing. Beauty starts from within, but I love helping women enhance their outer beauty to gain confidence. Hi! My name is Marlee Besel, I have been a master esthetician for 4 years and am proud to be a member of the outstanding Derma Medical Spa team.
I fell in love with esthetics after receiving my first facial and knew this was something I needed to pursue! My passion is helping people and making them feel like their most beautiful self. I hope I have the opportunity to meet and support you on your personal journey to obtaining your healthiest and most beautiful skin.

GRETCHEN SCHUETTER, MASSAGE THERAPIST
Gretchen specializes in deep tissue and rehabilitative massage. She has extensive training in trigger-point massage and is certified in TMJ treatment.
For those who have long-standing pain, chronic pain from old injuries, excess muscle tension and headaches, teeth grinding, neck pain, and/or sports-related pain, Gretchen may be your new best friend. Problems that you have tried unsuccessfully to treat with physical therapy or chiropractic work may be the result of tender trigger points. You may be amazed with how good you can feel after skilled treatment of these sensitive, and often overlooked, areas of our bodies.
If you crave the intense effects of deep tissue or sports massage, you won't be disappointed. Gretchen has an amazing ability to tune into the particular tensions that are individual to your body, and helps soothe and ease them away.
RACHEL HUDSON, MASSAGE THERAPIST
“My name is Rachel Hudson. I’m an LMT from Rainier, WA and I’m absolutely delighted to be a part of the Derma team! My passion for injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation began when I started coaching competitive gymnastics in high school. I realized that if I wanted my students bodies to be able to function past the end of their athletic careers (not to mention my own body!) that I needed to be able to prevent injuries if possible, treat them promptly when necessary, and rehabilitate them properly afterwards.
This interest led me to a Bachelors in Kinesiology from Pacific Lutheran University in 2015 followed by my massage certification from Bodymechanics School of Massage in Tumwater in Nov. 2017. I spent 4 years as an Exercise Specialist at South Sound Physical and Hand Therapy in downtown Olympia, gaining experience in everything from strokes to minor injuries to post operative rehabilitation, followed by 2 years as an LMT working in the same office.
I feel that patient education is a crucial aspect of any therapy, and enjoy coaching clients on simple ways to reduce pain and tension in their bodies. I have further experience in Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point massage, hot stones, cupping and Gua Sha. I’m excited to learn and grow as a part of the Derma team, and I look forward to working with you all!”
ALICE CUTTER, MASSAGE THERAPIST
Hi, I'm Alice Cutter, a Licensed Massage Therapist here at Derma! I've been a proud part of the Derma team since late December 2025 and have loved every moment of it.
I graduated from Bodymechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage in November 2025 and became license within 2 weeks! My passion was sparked when a parent I used to nanny for gifted me an in home massage, l immediately fell in love with the practice and knew it was my true calling.
As your LMT, I work collaboratively with you to design a personalized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals while accommodating your preferences. Whether you are looking for deep relief or pure relaxation, I offer a wide range of modalities including lymphatic massage, cupping, trigger point release, and myofascial work.
Outside of the clinic, I am a fiancé and a proud mother, raising my three children alongside my niece and nephew. Massage therapy allows me to pursue a career I love while staying fully present for my family.
